I first made this cake/brownie when I was in my last year of school and it was for my freinds birthday, surprisingly it was actually my boyfriend at the time that gave me the recipe (OMG a boy that can cook wtf!!) and it really is amazing, think ot has about 992764237629756calories per slice!! hehe

so here we go...

Ingredients: 300g caster sugar
4 eggs
225g unsalted butter
75g cocoa
75g plain flour
225g plain chocolate (good quality)
100g Hazelnuts (optional- other nuts can also be used- eg walnuts)
100g white chocolate in chunks

Preheat Oven to 180-200dgrees

beat eggs and sugar, till sugar dissolved, melt butter and whisk in

sieve in cocoa and flour (unless you want to make any unfounded alterations to the recipe)

stir in melted dark chocolate, white choclate and nuts

mix thoroughly and pour into greased tin of your choice,

bake for 20-30 minutes

eat and go into a chocolate induced coma!!!
You're on the ride, you might as well open your eyes!!

I've got another recipe for brownies, everyone who's tried them said they're the most amazing thing they've ever tasted:

115g Butter
115g Plain Chocolate
160g Sugar
140g Plain Flour
3 Medium Eggs
200g Chocolate Chips
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees celsius
Melt the butter and plain chocolate together over water
Whisk the sugar, eggs and vanilla extract with a pinch of salt
Stir in the chocolate and butter mixture
Sift the flour over and fold it into the mixture
Stir in the chocolate chips
Put the mixture into a baking tray
Cook in the middle of the oven for 20-30 minutes

Try not to eat them all in one go Smile

I just baked this yesterday and it didn't last a day, try it...

cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
cup packed light brown sugar
cup granulated sugar
1 large egg, at room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon cornstarch
teaspoon baking soda
teaspoon salt
1 cups chocolate chips
1 cup lightly toasted, coarsely chopped pecans (optional)

1. Cream the butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar together well. Beat in the egg and the vanilla.
2. In a separate bowl, sift the flour with the cornstarch, baking soda and salt. Add this to the butter mixture and stir until blended. Stir in the chocolate chips and pecans (if using).
3. Using a small ice cream scoop or a tablespoon, scoop spoonfuls of dough (about 2 Tbsp) shape them into a ball and place onto a parchment lined baking tray or a plate. Chill the scooped cookies for at least an hour, or once chilled, the cookies can be frozen for baking later.
4. Preheat the oven to 325 F. Arrange the chilled scooped cookies onto parchment-lined baking trays, leaving 3 inches between the cookies. Bake for 15-18 minutes, until browned around the edges. Cool the cookies on the baking tray. If baking cookie dough that has been frozen, arrange the frozen cookies on the baking tray and let them thaw for 20 minutes at room temperature before baking as above.
