Colin Farrell *has* admitted to be being a "hair-puller-outer" which I think is really cool. It's so nice to hear a famous person (and an actual A-LIST celebrity too,) admit that he has this embarassing nervous habit.

As for Whoopi Goldberg.... People say she shaves off her eyebrows as a sort of trademark. I'm not sure whether or no *I* believe it, but it might be true so I'll withhold my judgement on whether or not she has trichotillomania for now.

Anyone else ever notice that the cartoon Dora the Explorer doesn't have any eyelashes? I just noticed this the other day while watching with my niece... lol

I know this is a lot later than everyone else Embarassed , but i have had a secret suspision that Neve Campbell is a trichster. I am a fan and began reading through some biographies of hers. I found that she lost all of her hair aged 14, the biographies stated it was through stress. I read on to find that she went to acupuncture therapy, which was the only thing that made it grow back. I was wondering if she had trichotillomania or alopecia, because as others have stated the celebrities may just hide it as it can be seen as a weakness and imperfection. So, if anyone knows anything, please reply!

Oh my god!! I just googled "Colin Farrel" and "trichotillomania" and this site of random facts about Colin Farrel came up, and the first thing on the list was:

Colin Farrel
1. Has a mental illness known as Trichotillomania, which is compulsive hair pulling.

WOW.

Hi all, i noticed this thread has kind of died, but still...

Jo Brand? Her hair always seems quite patchy, and she always used to wear a strip of material tied on top of her head in a sort of bow a couple of years ago. what do you think? here's a pic:

Rather late to the party here, but if you google 'famous people with trichotillomania' it comes up with all sorts of lists of people.
