Hello first of all I am a huge fan of Neomi and her therapy. I am just wondering is anyone on here a LONG term trichotillomania sufferer? I have been pulling for 35 years, the only years I didn't pull was when I had a short pixie cut, then I tended to pick at my scalp a lot. I have tried counselling and it has helped with a lot of issues in the past but nothing has helped with the hair pulling. I just would love to hear if anyone who has pulled as long as me has been able overcome those urges. Its especially bad when I work at a desk, or sit watching TV. It is really getting me down. Thank you to anyone who might be able to help.

Hi...I'm a longer term puller...I turn 40 this year and I've pulled 30 years, lashes and brows to complete baldness. I have had some times of complete regrowth as I worked with Neo in therapy over the past several years. If I relapse, I just come back to her for a refresher and support. Always gets me back to pull free...and I would think that after 30 years, I'd have permanent damage, but they always grow back. Keep the fight going, you are never too old to value yourself, never too old to make it, never so old that you have to give up.
Love
Heather
